Adam founded Makkai Capital Group in 2004 after five years at a Wall Street investment firm. He has since helped clients develop successful investment plans through varying economic conditions. For 18 years, Adam taught finance and portfolio management at Regis University, earning the “Excellence in Teaching Award.” He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, an MBA in finance from Bowling Green State University, and a bachelor's degree from Liberty University. As a Colorado native, Adam resides in Castle Rock with his wife and two sons. He enjoys fly fishing and skiing, actively participates in community organizations, and coaches football for a local high school.
