Adam Makkai
Adam launched Makkai Capital Group in 2004 after working at a Wall Street based investment company for five years. During this time he has worked with clients to create successful investment and financial plans in both good and challenging economic conditions. He has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Crescendo Business Services from 2012-2017* and recognized with other Denver area advisors in 5280 Magazine and ColoradoBiz Magazine.
In addition, Adam teaches finance and portfolio management courses to MBA and undergraduate students as a professor at Regis University. During his time teaching, Adam earned the “Excellence in Teaching Award" as a top finance instructor in the School of Management.
Adam holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, earned an MBA in finance and information systems from Bowling Green State University, and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Liberty University.
He is a native of Colorado and lives in Castle Rock with his wife and their two sons. Adam enjoys fly fishing in the summer and skiing in the winter and is actively involved in his community. He is a member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with his local church and Ignite Ministries serving the Bumese Refugee Youth.
